them spring type clamps always were a pain in the a$$, I ordered the repo clamp kit, then realized they sent me the wrong kit, it was was for an earlier 318, that has a few different size hoses, then the 273, also had to blow the dust off the old pilers I dug out from the archives that were made for these clamps, what a ease it is with the pliers. The ribed heater hoses give it a nice stock look, I hate to post what they cost!!!  |

car is coming along, little slow due to the holidays, getting stuff back from Barn`s metal refinishing, got my paint this week, I can`t believe the prices of paint!!!!!  , doing a base coat clear coat, the only big things needed now are front bumper rechromed, exhaust system, and new skins for the bucket seats, most of the work now is general labor sanding prep for paint, installing the interior, anyone know where I can get a y pipe for this car, checked all my resorces, looks like I may have to have one made,closest I can find is NAPA, they can get only tail pipes. |

thats most likely what I will do, have custom made duals, was going to go 100% stock, but duals would be a plus

You can get it made cheaper locally, may not be oem correct, but fully functional. Besides, OEM on that would most likely be 1 3/4 pipe, 2" or bigger would be better........

Added a few pics last week on my site, but may wait for my unvailing, got all my parts, just as long it remains slow at the shop, the exterior will be all assembled and maybe painted this weekend, then I can put the interior back in, is was a slow process of taking a part cleaning, sandblasting, priming and painting

it was a long winter project, but over came a few minor disasters, by the way has anyone else have had this luck,? rear window accidently scratched by my brand new rear bumper that someone placed on big rear window, luckly I found a rear window for $50 in excellent shape in Bath NY, accidently ran into my front fender, while pulling car back into the shop, luckly was repairable with no notable scars, truck parked next to my car in the shop for some reason caught fire, luckly I stayed late to work on car. or else the whole body shop would of been burned down.

down to the last items, got an origional type radiator on ebay, because the one that came with my car is not origional, before it gets installed may get it recorded, costs about $300 to get recorded, anyone know of any deals on recores out there?
