I enjoy working on my own, to a certain degree. I have a lot of cars and it keeps me busy. I could probably sell off all I got and buy just one car that would be a real head turner. I have plenty of fun going to the shows and cruises with what I got. Awards are cool, been there done that, nothing wrong with awards. But now it's not that important.
Getting back to that Nova, I had a 6 cyl 69 Nova years ago. Had the monoleaf rear springs, those didn't ride as nice as the v-8 springs. Mine also didn't have a sway bar in front and would wallow going around a curve. Went and bought a sway bar out of a junkyard, made quiter a difference. People will be people. Most are aholes. I have nothing wrong with a clone as long as someone is not trying to sell it to me as an original car. Helped a buddy build one. 70 Challenger Convertible 440 6bbl 4-speed. Made it out of a Hardtop 318 automatic car. You should have seen the so called "experts" falling over each other to point out that the vin # told them t was a 318 car..................but missed entirely that the vin, and fender tag also told them it was a hard top!

SWI, you have enough cars to keep you busy 24/7 lol, wish I had the room I would of kept the 53 Ply, looks like I have to build a pole barn soon!!! I`m sure I will get another after my 65 is completed, getting an award is nice, its gives the owner a little bit of gradafication. its all in fun, some get serious with the judging and who got this and that, and thats the way the hobby goes, don`t know if my `65 will go to any shows this year, I`m sure she will make the cruises.
