One thing you may consider is identifying the vin to see if it was an original 8 cyl car or is a 6 cylinder with a v8. 6 cylinder cars are harder to re-sell. I didn't see the "buy now" of 7500. If the car is solid, You can't beat that for a decent driver.

I wouldn't worry so much about if it was originally a 6 or not. If it's originally a 6. it probably has the mono-leaf rear springs, but they can be upgraded. It's a clone, so it is not "original", probably wasn't red from the factory either. So it's a street machine! I would bet it is an original 6 car as no power steering, and no power brakes.
My brother has been doing a 70 for the past few years. Originally a 6, then became a drag car, now going to be a "sleeper" street machine. One thing I can attest to, is you can buy anything for these as just about every little bit and piece is repro'd. Would you beleive repro bumpers cheaper than you can get an original re-chromed. For Christmas I bought my brother a complete weather stripping kit, and headlight eyebrows. My son bought him headlight bezels. Last year I got him a rear bumper. Catalogs available for free, internet shopping, e-bay...........easy to do.

Ratman bought it trust this in your travels for a car...as I said before...especially in Camaro's...6 cylinder cars are not as easy to re-sell. You never know what happens in the future and it's best to have the best edge possible. It is a personal preference to a single buyer, whoi has money to throw...but when at a show or cruise, when you hear someone muttering under their breath, "it's a six car" it can aggrevate a sensitive person a bit. ESPECIALLY IN THIS AREA, PEOPLE WOULD RATHER PICK A CAR APART RATHER THAN APPRECIATE ITS FINER POINTS. Some people restore a 6 cyl car and forget about ug grading the suspension, wheels, brakes, to accomodate a "torque monster 8 " and then that cost is passed along to the buyer more interested in color/paint and engine. Just a couple points to ponder before plopping some hard earned money down.

I don't know what happened. the seller didn't let out any info. I asked for pics of the under, and trunk. My brother lives in cinci so I called him to take a look. But the seller wouldn't answer questions or send pictures. Not saying they were bad just not very accommodating. Or maybe the seller wouldn't sell, or changed their minds. this car looks like a 6, and a clone. My wife asked if it would win awards, I said people would just pass it as a clone, but I never care what people think, I enjoy my cars, they have to enjoy theirs. Getting a top show car/cruise car is impossible for me, really, I have my prioities straight and family comes first. I don't have disposable income, I live well, but I never own a real hemi, saleen, 302 boss or such, not many people do. There are many cars, to plop down that kind of cash would need more then a picture lol, but its the fun of the hobby, just to look, and its free.

95GTS never say impossible, you don`t have to build a car in one day, I been at my car since Aug 8 of last year, and she may not be 100% complete by June!!! your right prioritys come first, in my case I been doing my own body work and working on cars since, 1976, (back when the eagles were no one) I never had the cash to make my cars show worthy, but kept them running great, I always felt my cars were not good enough to show. 30 years later and with a military pension, also me and the wife working, I have a little cash to sprinkle on the car I always wanted, and feed the family

How many cars at the cruises/shows are clones ormini clones. All my 69 camaro's had the bowtie on the front grill changed to a "ss" emblem. Also the gastank cap and I installed the gills on the sides. I did this because I thought it looked better. That's the whole idea of the game. make it what You want it to be and screw what everybody else thinks. Most who chew a car up at a cruise are spectators anyways. My experience with non classic owner's who "brag" about their cars of yesteryears is this...NO one had a 6 cyl or smallblock. EVERYONE has a BB be it a hemi /427/454/428...etc. I don't think the big 3 made that many!! lol I think this "clone" thing is over rated and the people who turn their nose up at anything except pure stock are assholes.

yes...most will take a person's word. When you think of it.. a mustang...whether a mach 1, or boss, or shelby, is still a mustang...just a different configuration from model to model..obviously the same with most other makes...plus..how many of the reall SS cars, GTX,chevelles,Fords are numbers matching..is that a big deal besides the high dollar cars??

its a big deal only if you get into national shows, or buy and sell cars for big dollars, for me just a cool ride. Just like mine stang in High school 5 liters were awesome, when I was able to afford insurance and the car I bought it, everyone buys what they like. It may not be the best, very few have their dream car, but I agree there are more dream cars then what detroit sold lol. hence "dream car"
