That sounds good to me. I didn't know you lived up north too. Actually, I don't know anyone up north except for Jeff (85 Monte SS) who lives off Ward Rd. If you're close to Lewiston, we could meet at Clarks, they have great breakfasts.
I too owned too many 2.2's (the familiar knock haunted me for years) and it took me 2 seconds to see the turbo was not there.

8-tracks.............If they were gold I would be rich. Anyone ever seen one unwind so like 8 ft of it was out of the cartridge? There was a trick where you just jerked on it and it would wind back in..........
Canopies.............got a decent one from Dicks sporting goods. On sale of course. Learned about the cheapies awhile ago.
2.2 motors...........I cannot deal with them, they sit in the motor compartment the wrong way so it is a simple mental block thing with me....................my kids know them inside and out.....kinda like the way I know Corvairs.

yup I concidered myself almost an expert with them 2.2s changing the big rubber bands (timming belt) head gaskets, they are a vary simple engine after you take all the vacuum hoses off

The timing belt had to be changed on every one of those, it would always jump on me.

I had both 2.2 and the 2.5 they were dependable but I would take the 2.5 over the 2.2 any day. Mine had alot more power and better mileage, plus it didn't have the 2.2 sound. I maintained both religously and was satisfied with the results
