Hi Nailhead  Hi Johnny, what’s up?  Congratulations….you figured it out and you can now go to the head of the class!  Now that I have you on MY TURF where you can’t lock a topic or ban me, can we have a fair discussion where you don’t have administrative powers? Let’s see if you have the BALLS to fight a FAIR fight. First off……yes, I’m proud to be OSC. What he had to say is nothing new. I knew from the get go that I’d end up banned for speaking out about your show. That’s why I used that screen name instead of my own. Nailhead is not by any means bitter….I have a whole garage FULL of trophies, that’s not the point. What is the point is that I HAVE A RIGHT TO AN OPINION! You banned me for simply stating the facts as they are! Getting banned is EXACTLY what I KNEW would happen. What makes you guys over there think it’s OK to just ban people just for having an opinion that doesn’t agree with yours? It’s also why your forums are considered by many to be so communist. THAT’S WHAT FORUMS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FOR! If you can’t stand up to criticsm and defend your show and your viewpoints in an honorable way it only proves you aren’t grown up enough to accept criticism and THEREFORE YOU SHOULDN’T BE RUNNING A SHOW! The games you play at your show have been going on at every show around here for a long time now. The Buick show is no different either. You guys are no different than the others! I don’t expect to change anything, but I attend a lot of events around here as a participant and I’M JUST AS SICK AND TIRED OF THE GAMES AS EVERYONE ELSE IS! I’m not ashamed of what I had to say over there AND I’LL REPEAT IT IF YOU’D LIKE ME TO. What makes you guys think you are so special that you can delete, lock, and ban people’s opinions just to suit yourselves? A war was fought 65 years ago just for that reason! You have a guy over here that’s so scarred from your banning him and the manipulation you guys did that he goes by different screen name here and is now somewhat reluctant to speak up…..THAT’S JUST VERY, VERY SAD. How dare you critice Jim Moonan for doing the very same things you guys do but it’s OK when you do it! You are trying to make me out to be an idiot, when the only real idiots here are people like yourselves who are afraid to face real criticism. I’ll bet you’ll never link this forum to yours……..that’s because the truth comes out over here and you can’t disguise that. Kinda funny to read this now.... Yes, Joe, it is. But the situation here is somewhat different. Nailhead was not an insubordinate forum member over there. He was banned for logging in with a different screen name and blasting their show for giving 6 trophies to one entry and disqualifying legitimate votes considered "buddy votes"  by their brainiac computer program. The posts I made were deleted entirely. Benny was banned from here NOT because he flamed my ride, and NOT because he refused to accept my apalogies (note the plural, more than TWICE both in person and on our public forum).....that I humbled myself to doing. I locked the threads, only post I deleted was one derogatory one he made AFTER I suspended him from posting. Benny, being the military man he was all his life, of all people should understand the importance of rules and discipline. When Ray and I gave him a blank check to come on here and be able to say anything he wants to, that was a huge mistake. A FORUM NEEDS TO HAVE RULES. Benny Terzmo was not banned by me for personal reasons.......I really liked that guy. Why, I don't know but I guess it was b/c he is a Mopar guy and I've always had a liking for those "looney tunes" cars. You know, the Road Runners and the "beep beep" horns? Bright colors.... I learned a lot from him, we discussed these things, like pistol grip shifters and 160 MPH speedometers. Anyway.......I locked that thread where he felt the need to ridicule my Buick in retaliation for calling him a "TURD POLISHER". We all know that was said in jest, I did not give it as an insult, and it was NOT a viscious attack. Again, I humbled myself multiple times and apalogized to him for saying it both to his face, in front of Ray, and on our forums. OK.......I don't want to write a book here........but what makes anybody think that the next time this person saw it fit to bash another person's ride and show ABSOLUTELY NO RESPECT to the forum moderators that should be OK too? I would have made the same decision had this been anybody else, and I am trying really hard to clean up our forums here. We now have a professional look, a more distinct selection of categories. I even made a special section for pi$$ing and moaning about car shows or bashing another forum. People have expressed their need for this and have even left because of the bashing ALL OVER the forums here. So I figured out how to do it and fullfilled their wishes by making special sections for that. Joe, if we want our forums here to flourish, we MUST respect the feelings of other members and enforce some ground rules. Insubordination on ANY OTHER FORUM would result in IMMEDIATE ACCOUNT TERMINATION and one warning, if given, would be rare. I locked the topic that was headed to hell, I didn't delete it. I gave him the warning that Rod and Piston didn't give him. Or me. Or Redrider. Or Ray. Or Southside customs. And you're probly next to be banned by them without warning my friend. Had Benny been respectful of my decision to lock those 2 threads and TEMPORARILY block his IP address for his insubordination, it would have given us moderators a chance to discuss this in the basement and Benny certainly would have been given the opportunity to be a good boy and suffered only a 2 week suspension from posting. Expressing an opinion is a whole different ball game from ridiculing moderators and other forum members and thumbing your nose at the rules and common courtesy. Benny has no class on public forums, and enjoys picking people off one at a time and blasting them to pieces with his bazooka. LOL I hate to tell you Joe, but you were probably next, it was just a matter of time. ;D If you guys feel so strongly that I did the wrong thing here, then PLEASE remove my administrative powers and just delete my account. I do not wish to participate on a forum where members can be allowed to act like children and ridicule each other then justify it by whining about a right to an opinion. We all have a right to an opinion, BUT WE DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT TO DEGRADE AND RICICULE our own establishment or it's members. That should be done on a private level. Can we all PLEASE just get on with business here and forget about this? |

WOW; How can you call this site any better than the other site if you are BANNING posters, just as they have?? And after having had family & friends fight in WW2, to insure our freedom, don't you think the Nazi thing is STUPID?? Thank God I live in a country where we can disagree without fear of reprisal.. Now I guess I'll get an a$$ chewing too..JMHO

Joe I see you gave Benny a second chance, and he had to have the final word and provoked you you ban him, he even told you to do it, after seeing that I probably would of done that also, but would of gave him a chance to come back, the two week ban was in the works.
You are also trying to make this forum something it isn`t, a professional forum its not, I relate professional to a paid service you are trying to compete with the n@azi net. Its starting to look a lot nazish, remember We are all the bad guys banned members that never followed rules, lol. I just don`t get it, why don`t you just make up with the N@zis and help them out I have Joe jrs email if you want it, or start your own forum that seems to be the popular thing to do now days you just seem power happy and want to ban everyone, (The Termanater) I`m surprised you didn`t try to ban me!! you could of locked me out, lol, but your right I should have control over the forum you can help me out with this forum, but no banning for you, I have cut the banning powers for all my asst. admins. sorry but thats the way it is, I have to protect my azz from being banned, if we as a group (not one or two) feel someone needs to banned I will do it

Welp.......I'm certainly not on a power trip, and I wouldn't go back to Rod and Piston even if they begged me to. I simply did the job here that you trusted my judgement to do, Ray. It's your forums, do what you want to. This is the second time you did this to me. I am a fool, and I hope you can be proud of what are doing here. This website the way it is run is not worthy of a good administrator. This was my last post over here, and I wish you guys well with your forums.  |
