I know what you mean but i`m decided to play with a chevy powered vehicle, because of the ease of getting parts, this is my first GM powered product in years

chevy parts/motors are the cheapest of the three...you can get an entire rebuild kit for a chevy smallblock...pistons/rings/cam/bearings/gaskets for under 250

the trick is to use 1957 olds valve covers they fit over the stock chevy ones nobody bitches cause it looks like an vintage olds motor

Ray going for a "tuner"? warm or cold? Or is it the one you mentioned to me at Shelby? yeah you got me SWI, Its a 78 Pinto with a chevy 400 sm block, race prepared, it don`t need much work, but will be fun and relaxing working on a car will be modified. she has a 10 bolt possi, 4:10 gears shift kit, 650 holly double pumpr, siting on an elderbrock intake with mild cam Lets see where should i put the fuel indicator?

My new toy`s hood turned out nice, making a 70`s style dirt modified that was never raced, it has a troyer chassis, 16 point roll cage,Nova front sub frame, Pinto skin, its completly street legal, hagerty it still deciding to insur it,Geio said no problem

I think my wife likes it she drove it down the road it runs really good, evn my daughter picked out the cartoon character that was painted on the hood, I might even let my 16 year old daughter take her road test with it.

Looking at that car I am so glad you got to it before Bill! yeah Hagerty laughed also, they denied it, but Geico will put coverage on it, I have Geico for my daiy drivers, may not put it on the road untill spring, just needs a little freshing up, and some detailing, also my wife noted a lump in the side wall or the front tire, just like SWI had, its a shame the tire is has alot of thread, must be a defect in the Firestone Firehawk tires
