I don't believe in black eyes...broken bones...welts...etc...how many times did you here....ALONG time ago..."I aint dong that because My Daddy will give Me a good whipping" NOWADAYS....The GREAT NOWADAYS...people try to REASON with their kids as a last resort and/or just let them run wild/have their way as long as it doesn't bother them.
HOW would this go over today....in high school the boys swam nude at the high school pool. When the Coach blew the whistle to get out...the last one out had to touch their ankles and get a whack on the @$$ for being the last ones out. The whack was with a rigid solid foam paddle board. I don't think anyone got caught twice in a row. Never heard a complaint....but wow...can you imagine that now...And yes...My @$$ did sting ......but when You got to the locker room and everyone was laughing...it didn't hurt so much.

growing up we were disciplined, with a firm smack in the behind also, my mom had that paddle board with the ball taken off it. But the laws were made for people that abused minors or the ones who got carried away with disciplining, I feel a firm pat in the butt will do just as good, more less just hurt their feelings, wilth with my job I have seen a high number of abuses where helpless kids were not only hit, but were even scaled in hot water.

My Grandfather used a Razor strap....the area cleared out fast when he headed for that...
