I'm working the Satellite this winter. Sent the bumpers out for chrome and looking for wheel well trim. Found some rocker mouldings and all the shiny stuff ought to make it look good.
Also installing a driveshaft loop and getting street slicks(wish list)
...also a long list and not all listed but looking at the car one would think it's fine...but...tinker...tinker.....tinker
Looking for a 150 speedometer and super stock springs. Also GTX hood scoops would be nice.

Doing front and rear seats - the original upholstery finally gave out.
Joe: I recently read an article that stated that gasoline is good for about a year - that refiners add a stabilizing factor. Sta-Bil advertizes that gasoline, with it (Sta-Bil) added, is good for a year. I guess that you pays your money and takes your choice.

I always try to top off the tank, so therewill be less condensation. No stay-bil, never had a problem. No battery tender either, if it goes bad, it was borderline anyways. It's not like I'm storing for a year or more............
For me this winter, cleaning garage, selling stuff on e-bay, aquiring parts for spring. Need tires for the 67 Coronet..............wish I could afford red line radials but they look to be $160 each.............

I use sta-bill when I remember. The BEST stuff I ever used was a marine product that foam coated the cylinders and all. You ran the motor till it stalled and put it away for winter. Every spring the damn motor didn't turn over for more than 3 to 5 seconds and it fired/ran great. I think it's call engine fog or somthing along those lines. I put sta-bill in the satellite...none in the coronet..we'll see....I also have NEVER done anything to snowblower or lawn mower and they start fine...run well

I checked with Diamond Back Classic tires and they are $174 each for the ones I am looking at. I know Coker has them as well and they are about the same price.

I was told around $160 each by someone on the red lines, have not looked too hard yet.......... I think I would spend $100 each, but maybe just go with raised white letters again. Especially a tire that will rot before I wear them out............. I had a set of used originals back when I was building the 67. They were still good, but bias ply and old....................still sold them though.

I have a set of bias ply redlines that I drive on all summer and the ride and handling is terrible! That's why I want the radial redlines.
