THE PONTIAC 350 WAS ALWAY THE RODNEY DANGERFIELD OF ENGINES NEVER GOT RESPECT

IT has some nice Oak wood work, the trunk and dash, I plan on pin stripping, and some other changes

got a good deal, It has room for some Ideas I have for it, it belonged to a biker, that just couldn`t get used to a street rod

Well after much thought I think i`m turning down the deal on this T Bucket the only reason is the Pontiac Engine, It seems even To get a set of nice chrome T bucket headers would be a problem, they don`t make them, all are for chebbys, I may still end up building my own rod, lol

For all the aggravation involved in building your own street rod, it would be cheaper to just have those headers powdercoated or even chromed..........that's a gorgious machine, Ray. Whatta madda for you, huh? LOL Besides, there's chebbies all over the place around here........if I had the dough I'd scarf it up for myself and put a Nailhead on it. That would certainly be unique around here, I think there's only one on a street rod that I know of.

Like this one: Note how the chrome headers burned and turned blue.......who the hell would want that? Powdercoating looks soooo much better and is cheaper and more durable. You could always blast them and paint them with manifold paint. I brush painted mine this time and you saw how perfect they came out.......now my manifolds appear as if they are stainless steel. I'd think hard about this one, Ray.......that's a really nice street rod, I'd go for it if it were me. ;D

Here 'ya go, Ray.......imagine those headers painted this color. All for the cost of blasting them and a $25 can of manifold paint that you could just brush on. What's his next excuse?
