Thinking about buying this for my 17 year old daughter, I can get it below 1,000, but it has a frame issue, it has a a cracked frame behind the front wheel, it appears to be an easy fix weld job, might make a good 1st car for her

what else is compromised that you can't see? I would NEVER consider somthing like this for My daughter

its not a bad deal. Most likely this car was in a accident years ago and repaired wrong, IF I do buy it, would be gone over, myself being a Paramedic I would not put anyone in a dangerous car, its no different then repairing a wrecked car, I have excess to a body shop, a frame is only metal
You would be surprised on how many reconditioned cars are on the highway

I've heard nothing but bad things about Grand Ams, I would steer clear of that as well. Several people at work have them and not a single one is happy with their car

Also TONS of electrical issues and they seem to go through ball joints and wheel bearings quite frequently.
