Been spending a LOT of my spare computer time doing Christmas shopping. Haven't even posted much on the "other" forum lately either.
Been real busy at work too, missed a lot of my breaks even, which is when I usually check the forums...............
Yeah, broken hearted on the end of the NASCAR season too.........going through withdrawal.

Yeah I hear what your saying. No NASCAR = BORING!!! I don't know what to do on Sundays anymore without my racing. Let alone Friday evenings without watching qualifying, Craftsman Truck Race, and you can't forget Saturday Busch Series racing. This time of year is rough. The car is stored in the garage. Last night I watched two movies "Gone in 60 seconds" and "Fast and the Furious". This morning I'm in the process of watching " American Graffiti". Winter SUCKS!!!

Well, I've been working on the 66 T-Bird, the car from Hell.
I had a very bad miss, which I suspected to be a bent pushrod.
Well, pulled valve cover and sure enough it was a bent pushrod. replaced it and bent another. Now have intake and head pulled, broke off a bolt holding the rocker shaft to the head. Next found a lifter in the motor 1/4 an inch shorter than the other with a pin hole in the bottom, next to come out is the cam..............................and all this on a car I need to have the tranny rebuilt on.
