I went to a Catholic school for several years........... hated it, and hated the uniforms........... But now adays, it is done to level the playing field. Trying to do away with the friction between the haves and have nots.

uniform policy is a cop out for ALL the administrator's and Teacher's not enforcing or establishing a realistic dress code. In the stoneage, when I was in high school, no bluejeans,sneakers,sandals,t-shirts. Dress shoes, dress slacks, dress shirts for Boys only. Girls had to wear all underwear, blouses with collars, sweaters, skirts or dresses. (not complete list) Violators were sent home...if no one was at home...violators spent the day in the principals office. NO EXCEPTIONS

I'll bet the uniforms worn by the lunch ladies are supplied, just like any other company that has company uniforms
