Well we have decided to move from our first home. Our house is on the market and we have lost out on two really nice houses in the last two weeks. Each of the two were for sale buy owners. We put contingency bids on both houses and lost both off them. The last house hit me the hardest. It was in Wheatfield. A nice size ranch, lot was 100 x 720, 2.5 car attached garage with a 1.5 car garage in the back yard. If anyone knows of anyone in the Wheatfield, Sanborn, Cambria, Pendleton area looking to sell their house let me know.

I was going to say congrats, but have fun looking. Looking is horrible, i hated it. Are you working with a realator? If i had it all over to do again I would have moved to Pendleton. But i will keep a eye open for you.

Yeah it sucks. I'm almost to the point of not looking any more until our house sells. We have a realator, their just isn't all that much on the market right now. From what I have been told the market doesn't get really moving until March. Hopefully we will sell ours and find something nice...

Ray, I was getting a little grief with the sound effects as well. and we have the high speed here at work.
In any event. Looking for a house can be frustrating. Been there done that. Decide precisely what you do want, and what your budget is. Way back when........I told the realators I needed indoor parking for 4-cars minimum. And a barn with horse stalls was unacceptable. First couple of realators were PO'd when I arrived and wouldn't even get out of the car if the property had a leaning barn on site....
A lot of them felt that if I just came inside and "looked" I would be excited and could build a garage later............I was in no hurry, took my time. Finally found a place with indoor parking for 6 cars+ with a garage that included an in-ground lift.
Happy hunting..........

I'dleave Pendleton off the list. I've been here 20 years and My taxes have gone up 150 % from 1800 to over 4500. I get 30% for the star discount and 25% for Viet vet and they just keep going up. The school board spends money like water because they know they can jam any budget down our throats by stopping busing until the budget is passed. Nice people..terrible school board and politicians

I would love to move further out into the country. Unfortunitly I work in Tonawanda and my wife works in Amherst. It would be to long of a ride for us. I would never be able to make any cruise nights after work. lol..

I don't think the taxes are that low............especially for the quality of education the kids get, or in my kids case didn't get. Taxes are out of control everywhere, problem is, people keep putting the same fools back in office so nothing changes. At least here in Niagara County our sales tax is a bit less.........

Basically we all get the same water, yours of course comes with sewer taxes. You have to keep all those union water authority people working don't you.........
I do have a $200 a year water district assessment as well as a water bill that keeps growing.
