There was no stock rack in 1969, just the gearbox and linkage type, pacer was the second car to get it in 1975. If there is a rack in a first or early sec gen camaro, its been fitted with one.

I guess that rack and pinion was what made that car so popular with the general public.......or maybe the 2 or 3 people who actually bought one...lol....maybe swii has one in the barn, next to a gremlin.

I think the 1974 mustang 2 was the first car with a R&P, vette, camaro got it in 84. Another popular car, well some times the mustang 2 looked great, example when Charlie angels was in them
