I know where there is a red Notchback with a 4 banger for sale for $ 1,495 if you were interested.

One I talking to the guy is 300 bucks, from florida and engine and tranny are blown. I don't know if I want to start a project with a 87 or a 67, but a project car will be soon.

I like the gremlin, the Pacer is land fill, I remember going to the local tracks in the 70s all the modified race cars had Vega or Gremlin bodys |

Why are they always far away like this one in Montana?
there was one for sale near me last fall.
Gremlin X Levi edition, came with 2 V8 motors, extra parts..........
But rockers were pretty bad, and rust elsewhere...........
I'd drive a Pacer too..........but I wouldn't restore a basket case..............
A V8 in either a gremlin, Pacer, or even a Hornet is a rare find...........most were 6 Bangers.
My last AMC was an 83 Eagle SX4 6 cyl, automatic. 180,000 fairly much trouble free miles. Worst thing ever on it was having to change a rusted through oil pan............hell I had to do that on the wifes 2000 Jeep! Ended up giving the Eagle to my son who proceeded to destroy it. Body was too rusty to repair anyways................
I'd love another, but Eagles in any decent condition are tough to find. But a friend of mine bought an Eagle Wagon down in PA for 150 bucks............damn near perfect!
