Only problem with that is sometimes the bumper they send you has been straightened and won't fit as well as your original one did. When bumpers get bent, the metal stretches, and when they pound it back into shape it's never really the same as it was before it got bent. I would prefer to have my own core plated, that way I know when it comes back it will fit correctly. ;D

On some cars maybe........but in the past, GM and some other makes as well liked to make their bumpers contour with the body. Mine are both like that. These never really fit perfect to start with, and if you are a fussy person, an exchanged re-chromed bumper that may have been straightened just won't fit as well as an un-molested NOS piece will. ;D

Tri-city was awesome, my bumper was shipped to me within two weeks after ordering, and it fit like a glove

I doubt anybody will call them for a bumper for a 53 plymouth......my bet is it's on display in their showroom.......done up the right way I presume.
