There are 2 versions ov Vanishing Point out there, the original, which is the better one with Barry Newman, and the 1999 remake with Viggo Mortenson. If you haven't seen VP you have led a sheltered life. I saw it at the drive in several times when it originally came out........ Bought a copy on Beta about 25 years ago and paid like $50. The current version on DVD has scenes restored from the original that were cut from the US release but were kept in the UK version. Watch it once............then watch it again with the directors commentary turned on.

in my opinion..(which we all know isn't worth anything).. the all time best car movie is "Used Cars" with Kurt Russell.. if you haven't seen this movie, you have to get a copy.. I had been trying to get a copy on dvd for over a year, everyone would always be out of it.. so wasting time in Rite aid for a perscription (for my poison ivy..don't ask) I looked thru their movies and found it.. it was like winning the lottery!

told you not to ask about the poison ivy.. think I would have learned my lesson, but a month ago I went back in my woods and was digging up some rocks and flowers to bring up to the yard.. climbing in all of the vines I didn't think I could get it off what I "thought" were dead vines..like I said it has been a month now, 2 trips to the dr and 1 trip to the emergency room and I still have the crap on my arms, legs and hands..I want to take a steel wool to my skin and rip it off...all I know is, if you were mad at someone and knew they were allergic to poison ivy, what an evil way to get back at them by ploping their body into the vines..I am begining to think the stuff will never go away..anyone have any good home rememdies to get rid of it???
