I usually go for the entire event but the bummer with the fall and spring show is if you want a car coral spot,you need to get there wednesday morning around 430 am and stand in line for a spot. Getting there at that time has never failed. It's hard to win their "lottery" and be able to get a spot through the mail for these two shows. All the others can be bought in advance. So, I leave tuesday and don't get back till sunday. Also, I've seen that wednesday and thursday are extremely slow there, but if you want a car coral or vendor spot,you gotta get there early wednesday. AND...if it rains..it realy makes a miserable event/trip.
I stay in Harrisburg,22 mile drive from carlisle and pay half the room costs of local carlisle hotels/motels. I would think Bill is not going til the weekend.
