I tried to put some coverage on my modified car, and attempted to do it on line, what a bunch of red tape, question after question, I gave up i`ll give Hagerty a call tomarow, I `m not even sure if Hagerty will cover this car

Hagerty is pretty good! We kept getting turned down by other ins with the Vega because they all thought it was a race car. One even came right out and said because the car had a tach it was a race car. WTF! Most cars today have them off the line!
Went to Hagerty and was covered right away.
If you want a local agent there is one in NT.

I never have any problems with My State Farm coverage...All year....no mileage or distance limitations,etc.

I spoke to Hagerty over the phone, I had to email them some pictures, they will decide by tomorrow if they will cover it the problem is it looks just like a race car

What about if you take the car to a local agent and have them look at the car then submit the info to Hagerty?

Did you try Ron Giovino's office? I have my insurance there and I know people with modified cars that have their insurance with him as well.

yup will try, just waiting for an answer from Hagerty, I guess I will also try Geico Thats where I have my auto insurance from

While surfing the net I found that J.C. TAYLOR will insur modified vehicles, I got a quote for $120 a year
