I bet the "buy it now" would have been 5 grand if it was a Willys.
Guy in Elma re-did a Cord that was in that shape...................but the Cord is way more valuable.
Know of a guy in LeRoy who restores cars from the 20's and earlier starting with that kind parts. But he will do a Stutz, Marmon, Nash Touring car, etc.
He has a neat 11' Hupmobile, a Franklin Air cooled, a couple 20's Chryslers as well last I knew. Makes his own spoke wheels, steering wheels, and all body framing. Built his own English wheel for making body parts. And pieces he does not have, like door handles, windshield frames........he casts his own.
Amazing what one can do when you want to.................
