Oh no.......that building that burned was my favorite parking spot!  They are saying it may be arson. |

Just watched it on the news, they are saying it is suspicious as it clearly started in two different buildings. The seafood bar, what used to be the lighthouse gallery, and the building on the corner seem to be what went up.
The other end of town appears OK.

I was watching from our 12" tv.......it appeared to me to be the building along where Nancy always sets up. Are you talking about on the street behind where we have the cruises that has the bathrooms near the gift shops?

From what I can tell watching it on our big tv, Nancy's going to have to find another spot to park if she wants to be in the shade. |

What was burned down, the building that the Seafood Bar was in, included some empty store fronts, the Lighthouse gift gallery (which Todd had moved out in December), a house in the back (all of these were to be torn down already), plus damage to another building that had apartments in and a resturant that they were working on now to open in May...guesss the fire just helped the tear down...I was already going to have to move back down the street as my power came from those buildings, this was already worked out earlier this year....thats the story gang...doesn't effect cruise night that I know of, they are suppose to be putting in a parking lot where those buildings were already..
