I have, of course seen variations on this theme over the years. But, it's nice to refresh my perspective now and then. Some of these are real shockers. Now that I've had my perspective adjusted for the day, I'm going out now to fill up my tank while I still feel a bit better about it.

PS: I just put my Nyquil in the safe!!!


All these examples do NOT imply that gasoline is cheap;
it just illustrates how outrageous some prices are....
You will be really shocked by the last one!!!!

Ever wonder why computer printers are so cheap?
So they have you hooked for the ink.
Someone calculated the cost of the ink at................
you won't believe it...................
but it is true.........................
$5,200 a gal. (five thousand two hundred dollars)
So, the next time you're at the pump,
be glad your car doesn't run on
water, Scope, or Whiteout, Pepto Bismol, Nyquil
or God forbid, Printer Ink!!!!!


And - If you don't pass this along to at least one person,

But.......how much Nyquil or ink could you possibly use in one day? Compare that to how much gas you use in one day. If we bathed in Avian bottled water, I suppose we'd be in for it but we don't. Assuming you use 1/4 tank of gas per day, let's say that's 5 gallons, it'd be pretty hard to drink 5 gallons of bottled water in one day!

When you put all this into perspective, the price of gas is really still WAY too high. I used to kill weeds with the stuff........now it's almost cheaper to just splurge and buy some roundup. LOL

but at sams club I can get two gallons for 4.99...and when would I ever need twenty gallons of ice tea or printer ink in a week?
