what goes up, must come down What's actually been happening is that it goes up about a buck, people get pissed, then comes down about 50 cents, and people calm down. This trend is why gas has become so expensive, they found a way to pull it off.

we always have choices...still a cheap way to travel. I don't care about paying more, if half the people would just stay off the roads and at home..OOO it cost more, don't like it, walk.

Some people say why are you crying about it some countries pay much more like Japan or Tokyo. All I can say is I don’t give a dam what they pay I am talking about the good old U S A . So what if Japan pays more for gas they make billions off the USA each year, we buy there steal, there cars. Hondas may be made in the u.s but the cash goes back home to Japan.

Bottom line is we have to pay what they sell it at, or else go to the rez and get ripped off by paying $2.89 for 3/4 a gallon.

damm big oil, how large is the tax per gallon
California had the highest average price, with a gallon of self-serve unleaded costing $3.474 in the latest survey, although that was off of Tuesday's reading of $3.478.
South Carolina had the cheapest gas, but it is also creeping toward the mark of $3 a gallon with an average price of $2.853, up from $2.838 on Tuesday. Thirty-three states and the District of Columbia now have average prices at or above $3 a gallon, with Kentucky, Florida and Maryland crossing that threshold in Wednesday's reading. Pennsylvania, at $2.992, and Massachusetts, at $2.986, are poised to be the next to join that group.
Go to the rez, 3/4 gallon is bullsnot. I trust the res more then I trust NYS, period.

Smokin Joe's gas pumps are certified by the Erie County Bureau of weights and measures.......a gallon is really a gallon. Smokin Joe has done that voluntarily.......I found that out when I complained to the county about GAILS on Saunders Settlement Rd. I forgot exactly what they were doing, but they were hiding the price on their pumps with "tips accepted" signs and the workers gave me attitude if I didn't tip them. They were advertising 5 cents off per gallon but it was only on "self serve" and you couldn't find that out until you parked in the full serve island b/c you couldn't see the prices on the pumps. The county couldn't do anything b/c they had no jurisdiction on an indian reservation. When you go to "rougue" places like GAIL'S is where you get ripped off. I've been going to the rez every week for many years and have never had a problem except for that place. The indians are making out like bandits, but they are cheaper and I say so what? I pay enough taxes in this state. I try to stick with Randy's and Smokin Joes.
