don't agree with this at all, there are other things they can do then destroy personal property.

personal...confiscated...property for illegal activities...like drug dealers...intoxicated boaters..intoxicated driver's...We drag raced years ago for a block or so....not for miles at over 120 mph.The race ended quickly then with a clear cut winner 40 years ago. Both are illegal. I think it's a good law.

I think it's horrible.......all classic car owners should be outraged at this. What do you suppose is gonna happen if the government decides we need polution control on our cars in order to drive them on the road? Crushing them if we don't comply could certainly become an option. Frankly, I feel bad for that kid. Rice or not, the cops should spend their time finding the people who actually stole the parts........and whatever happened to being presumed innocent until proven guilty? Punishment should be done only after charges are proven in court, not just by having a judge sign a paper based on what some cops said. Remember, these cops are the same police who beat Rodney King if I am not mistaken. This is Southern California, where all this crap seems to originate.

you can bring up all kinds of comparisons to fit either side of the discussion...what if two ricers doing 120 mph take out a stationwagon or van with 3 to 5 children and their parents out...so let's feel sorry for the ricer a$$holes who are running on the street like it's INDY
