Ok, sorry I have not been on as much as some of you have wanted or expected. I do have other interests that take up some of my time. We travel quite a bit and in fact will be on the road for 3 weeks in October so I have been tinkering around with the motor home. I am also a Ham Radio Operator and have been operating since 1978. I'm sure some of you will have fun with that. I am also 3 years into a projected 10 year study of the New York Central Freight Car Number Series. We are also Rail Fans and have ridden many Short Line and Narrow Gauge railroads around the country.
But I am a car nut like most of us here. When not taking my car to cruise nights or car shows, I do help out a few friends at the drag strips. Last night I was at Lancaster helping out 2 friends running Supper Rod. Super Rod means you must run no faster but the closest to 6.90 seconds in the 1/8 mile. One of the cars I work on normally runs Pro Comp and runs 5.48 seconds in the 1/8 mils. So we have to slow the car down. We ran a 6.894 in time trials. The other car ran a 6.930 in time trials as fast quilifier and would have had a bye run in 1st round. But the rains came and we will try again next week. So I have been around but I do keep busy. Have a great weekend.

if he ran a 6.93....and can't go faster than 6.9...how does he qualify as fastest car ??...is this a setup for a lecture or do I have a firm grasp on the obvious ??
