Found a winter car, a 1992 Plymouth Sundance. Pansy blue, 2.2 N/A with a 5 spd. Cost of car: $100, cost to register: $112.50 WTF? Should be a good little car once I figure out a stalling issue (I'm thinking computer or fuel pump):

OK, checked the vacuum lines, everything looks good. I'm fairly certain it's a computer issue. The only problem I'm having is most of these cars in 92 came wiht te 2.5 or a 2.2 w/ auto. It's pretty difficult to find a 2.2 5spd ECU for 92, so if anyone knows where I could get one, please let me know

My wife had a 91 spirit and the motor got tired but that crappy little car still had an excellent body and interior. So I buy a new crate motor and have it installed and keep the car for Mine.. .buy the wife a new stratus. Just somthing about that car I liked. Well, one week later I'm driving on the 90 and notice I can't see out the rear window, night time, cars blowing black smoke out the back like crazy...gauges look ok so I pull over and the entire front end blows up in flames. I shut the car off and it's burning like crazy and decide to move the car over completely off the road. It starts up and I move it another 20 feet off. I get out...pop the hood and slam it down again real hard,,,fire goes out.....I'm happy. ...then I hear...crackle....crackle...and a whoosh...cars burning like a 5 alarmer again. Well, now I remember I have 2 20lb bottles of propane in the trunk with all my tools...I get that crap out and watch the car burn to the ground...front tires blow. Fire was isolated to the front of the firewall...nothing in interior...fire guys show up and put it out...one gets there a bit late...fires out now...and puts his axe through the driver's side window.. .I was P1$$ed ..anyways it was the only new crappola car I actually liked. Has that 2.5 and got 35mpg on the road...30 around town...ran great

Wow that sucks, would have been real interesting had the propane tanks went. They're really not bad cars for what they are- cheap transportation with decent gas mileage

The car was not good off the line but I was surprised how it accellerated from 50 on up...no a screamer but impressive for a 4 banger...had a decent stereo also...quad sound...great bass

That's suprising. I've owned about 10 of the 2.2/ 2.5 K variants, everyone was a dog unless it had a turbo. You must have got one made on a Wednesday (except for the engine fire, lol)

I don't think propane tanks will explode, they have a pressure release i think...It still will add to the fire, but not explode.
