Looks good Ray! Will it hold up to the heat? I was thinking about having my intake manifold powder coated because I have a couple of spots that keep blistering.

This standard type powder should hold up to at least 500 degrees, they have some hi-temp powders

I`m thinking about clear coating the intake, for added protection

No, never powder coated and not sand blasted. We just cleaned it and painted it.

I think they consider it bronze. I had to buy it from Fusicks because no one else had the correct color.

No, never powder coated and not sand blasted. We just cleaned it and painted it. I reheated the oven to 450 degrees and put the intake back in it, the paint holds up, our engines, would never get to 450 degrees

Maybe I will get it powder coated instead of repainting it.

Hot Coat Bronze Powder - This powder cures to a medium tan with random gold sparkle. Produces a smooth finish with slight orange peel

Maybe I will get it powder coated instead of repainting it. spray paint won`t last, I spray painted the Barracuda`s engine in 05, looked good for almost a year. Powder coating gives it a tuff finish, I know for a fact that powder coat is hard to sand blast, spray paint is easy to sand blast.

It was spray painted 3 years ago and looked good until last year when I had to start touching it up all the time. Thats why I was thinking of powder coating it if someone can match the color.

my color was simple its RED, I have seen Chrysler Orange, and Ford blue, you would have to look at some color charts to get close to what you want

if all goes well may look for a bigger building and run a larger powder coat operation, and hire some help

I won`t quit my day job!!! I most likely never go big, just keep it as a hobby, even though I`m getting more comfortiable with powder coating, I`m afraid of screwing someones part up.
