It was a panic, everyone has a full tank.I been watching, gas pumps have been empty last couple days. I think if they dip to 2.98 everyone will fill up again, lol. They say you can charge what you want for smokes, liquor, and gas people will pay. Looking at it there hasn't been a shortage, this isn't the 70's, and people we just buying it no matter what. If you been driving ave you notice people been driving slower? I was lucky I had full tanks before this all happened, and about 25 gallons in reserve. I havn't paid over 2.35 yet, I figured it take about another three weeks for gas to be down.

I filled up my wifes Grand Caravan about 1 week ago on the REZ and paid $2.95 / gallon. That '05 Dodge has a 3.8 and man it likes to consume some serious fuel. I put $10 in my Intrepid and got a wopping 3 gallons of gas at the NOCO in NT. I'm waiting as long as I can for the prices to drop. Fortunitly I'm on vacation this week and don't really need to do any driving. The question is when will the prices go down and how much? I really don't think they will go much below $3 / gallon.

Its right around three now, couple more weeks and it go down further. 3.05 at the rez, I paid 2.95 at millersport and transit two days ago, I see 2.60's comming soon, cross your fingers, as far as natural gas, it going up, 25-70% hike, depends on where you are in america. I also noticed that the natural average for the last year we been close to, but last couple weeks we are about 30 cents higher, funny stuff.

Price is killing me, started driving the Subaru to work instead of my Ram. I love my Ram, and hate the subie. But Subie gets 28 mpg, and the Ram about 15.
Luckily most of the "play" cars had gas in them before the price increase, but they are starting to get low........

On the Tonawanda res yesterday, I paid $2.65 for 87 octane............starting to get reasonable, but still not cheap! Anyone else figure it was just for a big windfall for the holiday weekend?

Monday, I spotted NOCO on Transit in Lockport, and Mobil at Robinson and Transit at $3.09 High Quality was at $3.07............... Notice we haven't heard anything more on the "price gouging" investigations!!!!!!
Talked to a friend of mine in Georgia, Asked him about prices down there as on TV we saw a station that was advertising $5.89 just before the holiday weekend. Seems for some reason that place got shut down for gouging. According to my friend it was in the papers down there, and the prices all over immediately came back down a bit..........
Never happen here though..................
Heard on a Rochester Radio station that Monroe County was considering removing their portion of the sales tax to help consumers. Idea was turned down flat! They said they could not afford the loss of revenue...............

Its only been two weeks, I said four. The rez is at 2.55-02.65 local stations are around 2.80's so its getting better, but dosn't seem to be with the natinal average yet. Also I see people are responding to too high prices, If a person files a complaint and the goverment fines them, where does the money goes, its not like they can give it back to the people that lost it? makes no sense. I rather see them lose their ability to sell for 4 weeks, that would be funny.
